German Luftwaffe 2nd Model Paratrooper Knife-This is an “as found” take down model with approx. 40% of its original bluing on the appropriate steel parts. The wooden grip plates are intact but have considerable discoloration. The spike is properly marked with the number #5 waffenamt. The spring does work but is a bit loose so if you turn the knife upside down, part of the blade will protrude. The blade itself is an unmarked example and has slight edged sharpening. Let’s call this very good and sell it reasonably.
