German Post WWI Silesian Award 2nd Class-Handsome and scarce award that was given to the members of Freikorps Oberland who fought during the Silesian uprising in 1919. This area is now where Poland is located. In order to receive this award, an individual had to have at least 6 months of service. This is a high-quality piece with detailed black enameling to the eagle, along with a silvered crescent with a cross. The wording translates to “For Silesia”. This beautiful bold eagle sits on a yellow and white, short portion of ribbon. This scarce find is in excellent condition.
