This is a dagger in very good condition somewhat hidden by a bit of aging. The nickel silver fittings on the crossguard and pommel have darkened from age. There appears to be a hint of gold gilt remaining on the sunwheel swastika on the pommel. The blue Moroccan leather grip is near excellent, with no crazing or cracking at all. The twisted silver wire grip wrap is in place and looks very good. The blue Moroccan leather on the scabbard shows a few bumps and scrapes along the side, but overall is in very good shape. The fittings have toned to a dark color to complement the upper fittings. These are dent free, including the scabbard ball tip. The blade is in very good condition. It is free from water spotting and darkening. There is one nick on the blade, about mid-way down the blade. The WHW\/Waffen logo can be seen on the reverse of the blade, just under the crossguard. This comes complete with an aluminum chain. The large snap clip is marked with the logo for Overhoff \u0026amp; Cie. The clip works as intended.
