This is an untouched, uncleaned beauty in very good condition. The blue Moroccan leather handle and scabbard are in very good condition. The handle shows light wear from use, but overall damage free and in very good shape. The twisted silver wire grip wrap is in place and nicely toned. The bronze gilt is beautiful on the upper pommel cap. It retains the majority of the nicely toned nickel silver finish. The details to the crossguard are also very good. The toning of the sunwheel inlay on the crossguard is excellent, with the sunwheel retaining the majority of its bronze gilt. The leather on the scabbard is near excellent. There is a scuff on the reverse, just below the center fitting. Please be sure to look closely at the photos. The nickel silver scabbard fittings are excellent. They are nicely toned. The tip of the scabbard remains dent free. The blade shows the usual in and out runner marks from the scabbard but overall is near excellent. The SMF logo can be seen on the reverse of the blade, under the crossguard. This comes complete with an early, nickel chain that retains the majority of its toned, nickel silver finish. The snap clip works are intended. This is a handsome example of an early Luftwaffe dagger!

Online checkout is not supported for edged weapons.
