This gorgeous 2\u003csup\u003end\u003c\/sup\u003e model Luftwaffe dagger has an ivory white celluloid handle that is free of cracks or crazing. The silver grip wire is in place and looks terrific. The airplane gray finish on the pommel and crossguard is nicely detailed and has toned to a nice dark gunmetal gray color. The pommel and crossguard show light wear only and have excellent details. A slight hint of the gold gilt remains on the pommel swastikas. The scabbard is also excellent. The scabbard itself has darkened some, as have the fittings, with a tone that matches the grip fittings. This gives the dagger a great look. The scabbard shows no denting. The blade is very good, just the usual in and out runner marks. The logo for Richard ABR Herder can be seen just under the crossguard. This example comes complete with a properly tied silver bullion dagger knot that is in very good condition. This knot is excellent.
