The silver finish remains mostly in place on the fittings, including some gold gilt to the pommel’s swastika. The underlying nickel has darkened some. \u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eThe scabbard has lost the majority of its original finish and has a dark tone. It remains free of dents. In fact, it is in very good condition. The blade has seen better days unfortunately; this blade is a bit rough around the edges. There are a lot of water spots and darkening most likely from storing in a damp environment.
