This is actually a handsome look against the brown wooden grip plates. The wooden handle is in good condition, though there are dings on one side, as though someone used this to hammer something. Please be sure to look closely at the photos. The locking mechanism is marked 174\/0. It functions well, as does the spring to hold the blade tightly in place. The blade is \u003ci\u003egood only\u003c\/i\u003e. The blade does have some damage to the edge and has been heavily sharpened. The blade is unmarked. This does have the marlin spike, which is marked with an “S” where the Luftamt is usually found. This “S” mark is only observed on the SMF knives. The spike is also marked with the RBNr 0\/0561\/0019 also for SMF. This would make a good starter piece for a new collector.
