German WWII 7 x 50 Binoculars with Case-These are marked “Dienstglas” followed by 7 x 50 and an ordnance code “blc” which indicates production by Carl Zeiss, Military Division, of Jena. The black finish to the body is mostly intact, and mostly missing at the hinge and high points. The textured black sections are fully intact with only slight wear. The optics are OK. The left eye is clearer than the right. The leather strap for the binoculars is present. The hard leather case is in excellent condition. There are a few scuffs only. The case is marked and dated 1944. The front clasp is steel and works as intended. The shoulder strap is not included but the “D” rings are present. A near excellent set overall!
