The patch is machine woven in three colors: aluminum flat wire thread, bright orange thread (Cavalry branch color), and black thread. This is all woven onto a thin, dark green rayon backing cloth. The insignia portrays two crossed Standards in miniature, with a cluster of oak leaves in aluminum thread woven at the bottom center. This very colorful and desirable patch would be worn on the right shoulder of the one person in the unit that was designated to carry the regimental standarte (flag). Excellent condition! $750
