Pack \u0026amp; Söhne-This is a very handsome sword. It is an early brass example. The black celluloid handle with brass twisted grip wire is in excellent condition. The brass fittings on the pommel and guard have toned to a nice dark bronze color, that complements the black of the handle. This has a lightly embellished “P” guard that gives this an ornate look. The details to both the “P” guard and crossguard are excellent. The black painted scabbard looks very good; there are several scuffs throughout the scabbard and the very tip has lost its finish. It is free of dents. This is a long sword as it measures 39 inches (99.06cm) in length with a blade that measures 33 ½ inches (85.09cm) long. The blade is fine. The E. Pack logo can be seen on the reverse, just under the crossguard. This has a beautiful knot that has been with this sword forever. The knot slider shows some leather loss. This is very slight. Overall, I would say this knot is excellent.
