German WWII Army Dove Head Sword by Robert Klaas- Early example with solid brass “P” guard hilt which has fine details. The eagle on the languette has the wings turned down like you would see on an army helmet. The black celluloid grip with triple wire wrap is flawless. This sword measures 42 inches long. The original black enameled paint on the scabbard is 90% intact. The blade is in excellent polish but does have some very slight nicks on the cutting edge. The original leather buffer is still intact under the cross guard.
