German WWII Army EM Buckle-This Heer buckle is made of stamped aluminum. It has lost the majority of its finish on the obverse but the details on this buckle are excellent. There is a little bit of the original paint in the very low areas of the pebbled background that makes the details on this buckle stand out. There is some heavy wear to the chest of the eagle. Someone wore the heck out of this buckle, as you can see the wear that has rubbed feathers off of the eagle’s chest and head. There is some of the original army green paint on the reverse. This buckle is maker marked H.A. below the adjusting bar for Hermann Auerich.
