German WWII Army NCO Sword-This is the desirable ordinance sword made by the firm of Eickhorn. It is an early example with a solid brass “P” guard hilt. The black celluloid handle with double brass wire wrap is in excellent shape and this retains the leather finger guard. This example measures approximately 37 ½ inches long. It is extremely well marked with multiple waffenamts. It has matching numbers and a “G” date which means it was manufactured in 1935. The anodizing on the scabbard is virtually intact. The nickel-plated blade is in excellent shape and has the early Eickhorn logo. The original leather buffer is still in place under the cross guard. Fine example.
