In fact, this whole sword is very impressive. There is excellent detail throughout the highly detailed aluminum hilt including the backstrap and “P” Guard. The black celluloid handle has triple wire wrap that is nicely toned and in great condition. There is a detailed eagle on the languet. This is in spread wing army style. It has crisp details, and a nice gold gilt. The finish on the fittings is intact with the same gold gild. This sword measures approx. 36 ½ inches (92.71cm) long in total, with a blade that measures 30 ½ inches (77.47cm) long. The black enameled paint on the scabbard is 95% intact. There are a few scuffs midway down and at the scabbard tip but this is from general use. The blade with the Alcoso scales logo is in near excellent condition.
