German WWII Army Photo Album-This is a great album, it belonged to a soldier who was attached to a motorcycle unit during 1940-1942. It contains approx. 290 photos, of 41-42 vintage. Shows photos from the Blitzkrieg through to Belgium, Holland, and France. Many armor shots, POWS, destroyed vehicles and buildings. Some grave shots. Some terrific photos of Versailles, Calais, and Paris, including the Moulin Rouge. Excellent photo of Hitler in Brussels on July 24th 1940. This photo book shows an excellent example of daily life of a motorcycle soldier from an intimate perspective. The book is in excellent condition, it has a textured black leatherette cover, with an army eagle insignia on the front left corner. It is bound in a olive green thread. The pages are lined with a rice paper, that is textured with a beautiful spider web design.
