German WWII DAF Dinner Plate-This white porcelain plate that is just a bit deeper than a normal dinner plate. I would almost call this a pasta or a shallow soup bowl. It is made of white porcelain and is trimmed with a blue/gray border, with the text “DEW” on the edge. It is very nicely marked on the reverse with the National emblem of the DAF, a cogwheel with a central swastika. Script around the motto reads “Modell des Amtes Schönheit der Arbeit”, “Model of the Office of Labor”, as well as the maker mark for Bauscher, Weiden. Nice example.
