German WWII Der Führer In Köln 1936 Tinnie- A scarce tinnie. It is constructed out of a stamped steel that has been silver washed and then green painted. The shield shaped obverse shows the script “Der Führer In Köln 28. 3. 1936” flanked by two oak leaves above a large static swastika and “Frei Ist Der Rhein”. This has a vertical pinback that may have been re-attached. It is slightly crooked to the reverse. The pin still functions perfectly. A very interesting early medal.
