German WWII Early HJ Single Sew in Shoulder Board-This sew in single shoulder board is produced in soft black cloth. There is red piping and chain stitched number 289. There was once a paper RZM tag on the back with some residue from it still visible. Very good, with only minor wear and discoloration. HJ personnel wore shoulder straps on their brown shirts to indicate rank and branch of service. The HJ shoulder straps were first standardized in 1933 and underwent at least four modifications between 1933 and 1938 when a final pattern was introduced and utilized until the end of the war.
