German WWII Era Pair of German Sword Hilt Candlesticks-These were constructed out of a beautiful lion’s head hilt, that has red glass eyes as well as the standard Army Eagle with its wings by its side on the obverse languet. These have shark skin type handles with a twisted silver bullion wire. The details are excellent but at some point, the handles themselves, when these were made into candlesticks, were replaced. An interesting novelty item from the period.
