German WWII Feldfernspreher 33 (Field Phone)- This is the standard issue German field phone for WWII. It measures approximately 10 ½ inches (26.67cm) across by 9 inches (22.86cm) high and 3 ¼ inches (8.255cm) wide. The brown/red mottled bakelite case is in sound shape as it has a pretty substantial hole in the lower front. This hole measures approx. 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Please be sure to look closely at the photos. All components appear to be in place including the often missing crank. The bakelite handset is in place and nicely dated. The cover to the push to talk buttons is missing, and you can see the components on the underside of this handset. On the top of the box components, under where the hand set sits, you can see the word ”Pruftaste” with a waffenamt, this is not a maker name, this is generator test button. The handset is nicely dated 1944 and the field phone itself is dated 1943. This is heavy so extra shipping will apply.
