German WWII Final Pattern SS Collar Tab for 15.Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (lettische [Latvian]-Nr. 1)- This division had two patterns of collar tab (worn on the right collar in place of the SS runes) with this being the final design. This collar tab, which was instituted for wear by Divisional members in the autumn of 1944, is machine-embroidered in handsome pearly silver/grey thread on a thin black textured wool backing cloth. The tab is backed with the usual buckram stiffener and has the white tack down stitches typical of Dachau production. This very desirable insignia is in near mint condition!
