German WWII Funeral Sash Half-This is half of a green rayon funeral sash. This sash measures approx. 40 inches (101.6cm) long by 6 ½ inches (16.51cm) wide. There is a dedication written in silver script on the end of the sash, just above a large silver Maltese Cross, that reads “In Treue Fest Verbunden Deine Kameraden” which translates to “Your Comrades Are Firmly Connected in Loyalty”. This sash appears to have been cut on both ends, the usual tassels are not present. This sash is in good shape overall, though please remember it is not complete. But sometimes half is just as nice.
