German WWII HJ Buckle by Felix & Söhne-This is an excellent example of a one piece, steel HJ buckle. The finish on both the obverse and reverse is excellent. It is constructed out of a single piece of die struck heavy steel that has been silver plated. The obverse roundel depicts a closed winged HJ eagle clutching an HJ diamond within its talons on a pebbled round background. Above the eagle is the Hitler Youth motto reading: “Blut und Ehre” (Blood and Honor). This is then encircled by detailed lines which are enclosed by two twisted ropes and all lies on the smooth rectangular background. The matte silver finish on this example is perfect. The reverse is marked with RZM stamp M4/110 for Joseph Feix & Söhne, Gablonz. A great example.
