German WWII HJ District Sleeve Triangle for West Kurhessen -This is a district patch that would have been worn by a member of the HJ (Hitler Youth). The patch designates the unit location, and who they are controlled by. This features a golden yellow script on black which indicates that these would have been worn by the young men’s while the girls (BDM) was created with the silver script on black. The triangle also has a narrow machine woven silver border stripe near the outside edges. This patch shows some wear, and looking at the remaining threads. You can tell that this was removed from a tunic. Excellent example.
