German WWII HJ Small Belt Buckle-Smaller brass example with a separately applied roundel. It measures 53cm by 37cm. In good condition, with only some wear to the obverse, you can see that the feathers to the chest of the eagle are worn smooth. The finish is missing on the rondel, but it has a handsome rich tone, and the details are stunning. The finish on this buckle is a brass, and it does have some slight scuffing, but it has very nice darker toning. The roundel has a stylized eagle with a mobile swastika in the embossed wreath. There is a half-moon style catch and plated roll bar/prongs. There is some heavy verdigris on the reverse under the catch, but overall, this is a good example.
