The black finish on the iron core is mostly intact on both the obverse and the reverse. There is some lightening from age, but this is hardly noticeable. The silver frame has a very nice tone. The ring of this example is marked “27” for the maker Anton Schenkls Nachfolger of Wein. This comes with a long portion of original ribbon that is clean with bright colors and in excellent condition.
