German WWII Knight’s Cross to the Iron Cross by C.E. Juncker-Textbook example of the L/12 800 Marked Cross! I enjoyed owning this example because it’s actually one that was worn. There is beautiful toning to the frame and very slight wear to the highlights but still retains a full 98% of the finish. There is a very small separation in the frame of the cross. Please see pics. This comes with a length of original Knights’ Cross ribbon that was meant to be worn around the neck as its still has remnants of the hook and the catch still in place. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE! The ribbon loop is a POST WAR REPLACEMENT. It is 800 marked but not silver, instead it is brass with a silver plating. The real value here is the desirable L12/800 marked cross. Please carefully examine the photos and then feel totally relaxed as this example is complete with a Dietrich Maerz certificate of authenticity. This of course will come with our own COA as well, so you can buy with confidence.
