German WWII M-41 DAK Tropical Afrika Korps Field Cap-Primo example of a virtually unused late war M-41 style cap! This has the olive drab canvas body, with a double set of ventilation holes which are zinc or aluminum. The exterior of the cap is perfect, including a late war BeVo eagle and a trapezoid configuration which is the textbook hand applied top then flipped over and machine applied to the front panel. The tropical cockade is machine applied to the lower portion of the front panel. The size 56 interior is very well marked with a combination of the maker and a contract number on the red cloth lining. The sweatband is made of a combination of a dark grey and green oilcloth material. Rare, late war produced, example in mint condition!
