May Day is still a day for rallies and celebrations. This tinnie was issued by the NSDAP to celebrate \"Tag der Arbeit\" (National Labor Day \/ May Day) on May 1, 1938. These were widely distributed across Germany to members of the working class and the general public during state-mandated rallies and festivities. The obverse features a child standing on top of a national eagle while holding an oak branch. It features the text \"1. MAI 1937\". The reverse is marked for Gebr. Albert. The vertical pin is in place, and functions perfectly. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"The Ruptured Duck, LLC","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51444700774706,"sku":"M-673","price":22.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1141\/9332\/files\/WW2_German_Tinnie_Medal_Pin_30924.jpg?v=1783517779","url":"https:\/\/www.therupturedduck.com\/products\/german-wwii-may-day-tinnie","provider":"The Ruptured Duck, LLC","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
