German WWII Model 1935 Luftwaffe Double Decal Helmet with Wire Net Attachments-This great example has hooks applied to the liner band which would have allowed the wearer to add a camouflage net to the shell. The blue/gray smooth textured finish checks in at 80% intact. The left side has a worn but mostly intact Luftwaffe decal, and on the right side is the tri color decal, checking in at 70% remaining. The leather liner was treated at some point, leaving it very dark in color but still very soft and supple. There is a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked, dated 1939 and size stamped 66/58. The side of the interior is stamped Q 66 indicating production for Quist in the size of 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number DN4313. There is a partially intact brown leather chinstrap. A great example!
