German WWII Model 40 Single Decal Navy Camo Helmet-An item like this seldom comes along and we have not had a Navy camo helmet to offer you in quite a long period of time. The smooth textured dark green paint combined with the thick brown splotches of camo paint remain 90% intact on the exterior of the shell. The unquestionable navy decal is a solid 75% and is consistent with the wear to the rest of the helmet. The size 58 leather liner shows light to moderate use, but no tears or repairs. It does have a well-used and adjusted drawstring. The side of the interior of the skirt is marked ET66, and the batch number in the rear of the skirt is 209. The veteran elected to hang this on the wall, and in order to do so, drilled two small holes in the visor on the front of the shell. Intriguing offering!
