German WWII Navy Dagger by Eickhorn-Sound offering with solid brass fittings throughout showing nice Eickhorn quality detailing. The off-white plastic grip with beveled twisted brass wire has a crack running through two of the grooves but no missing pieces. The lightning bolt scabbard has the typical dents on the lower portion. It is rumored that these were caused by interactions with closing doors. If you visualize the German Navy dagger in wear, with the hangers, you can understand why these are normally encountered with dents in the lower portions of the scabbard. This has the beautiful fouled anchor blade which is in excellent condition. It features the 1935-41 Eickhorn squirrel logo. The leather buffer is in place underneath the crossguard. This is complete with a beautiful, correctly tied navy knot.
