German WWII NSFK Flyer’s Dagger by Alcoso-Who doesn’t love this art deco looking dagger? The NSFK knew how to make a good-looking dagger. This beauty is an untouched, uncleaned early example of this flyer’s knife. The nickel silver fittings throughout are uncleaned and show nice patina. They show no damage and are very attractive. The fine dark blue smooth leather on the handle does show some honest wear and leather loss but is overall in good shape with no tearing. The blue pebbled leather on the scabbard has a few slight nicks and scuffs but otherwise rates very good. The enamel on the swastika in the cross guard is perfect. The blade has the Alcoso logo on the reverse. There are some light scratches on the blade but you can make out the factory cross graining. There are the usual in and out marks, and I would rate this blade as near excellent. The pebbled leather buffer is still in place in the cross guard. This is complete with the elusive short brown leather hanger with nickel silver fittings with a tone that matches the fittings on the dagger perfectly. The coolest part is when you look at the markings on the throat of this scabbard! Please take a look at the photos. This is a great example of an elusive dagger!
