German WWII NSKK Dagger by Hugo Köller-This uncleaned example by a rare maker, and has all of the characteristics associated with early production. Beautiful brown wooden handle is in very good shape with just a few small scratches. The fittings on this piece which are of course solid nickel silver are all in excellent condition. There is one screw missing from the top nickel fitting on the scabbard, near where the O-Ring is attached. The eagle and brown enameled runic button are in place and in excellent shape. The reverse of the lower crossguard, is group stamped He, and that is for Hessen. This was issued with a black painted scabbard which has moderate wear and rates 85%. Intact. The blade is near excellent with only some in and out marks, it is a tight fit into the scabbard. The ball on the lower scabbard is dented. The blade itself has the Hugo Köller eagle logo beautifully etched on one side, and the motto “Alles fur Deutschland” deeply etched on the observer, it is in very good condition.
