This includes the shortened blade and the filled in hole on the stag grips where there was once a clamshell. I always enjoy handling these, as they are representative of the Weimar period which has been updated for use during the Third Reich. The hilt fittings are beautifully engraved and detailed. The grip plates are excellent but is missing the police grip eagle. This particular example does not have the unit markings. The blade is in excellent shape, with the Alcoso logo with scales visible on the reverse of the blade.
