German WWII Police Enlisted Man’s Belt and Buckle Set-This belt and buckle set is made of a soft brown leather by the firm Josef Feix & Söhne' from Gablonz (Sudeten) and dated 1939. The leather belt is brown, which means that it was for the rural police (Gendarmerie). The belt is maker marked on the leather tab, and there are also the owners’ initials “KG” written on the tab. The belt itself is stamped with the size in centimeters 95 so this will fit up to a size 32” waist. Moderate wear and some discoloration, but overall, in good condition. The buckle is made of a one-piece stamped construction, and is constructed out of aluminum. The finish on the pebbled background is in very good shape, there are some light scratches on the reverse, but overall, this mold injected aluminum buckle with the standard police motif is very nice!
