The black ribbed wooden handle is damage free and in excellent condition as is the silver twisted silver grip wrap. The zinc police eagle retains its finish and has a very nice tone and details. The nickel silver on the guard, crossguard and pommel show some light spotting, I would rate this as being 95% intact. The fitting that sits just above the crossguard is beautiful in its detailing and darkened tone.  The original thick brown leather buffer is still in place under the crossguard. The scabbard retains the majority of its original black finish and shows the only light wear and no denting. The scabbard fitting has the same light spotting as the crossguard and guard, so these look very good together. The blade is very good, it has the desirable WKC knight logo on the obverse, with the SS proof mark on the reverse side. The blade shows the usual in and out marks and the factory cross graining is very visible. Overall, very good.
