The fittings retain approx. 95% of their finish on the hilt and crossguard. The details to the eagle, and the RAD emblem are very good, though there are a few scuffs to the fittings. The white celluloid grip plates are very good, though there is a crack to the left side of the obverse. Please be sure to see photos. The scabbard is beautiful and in very good condition. It has toned to the same color as the fittings on the hilt and crossguard. The blade is very good. The obverse of the blade has a nice deep Labor Corps motto which translates to “Work Ennobles”. The reverse of the blade, just under the crossguard, shows the trident logo for the maker Ed Wüsthof. The leather buffer is in place under the crossguard.
