This is a handsome presentation piece of RZM production vintage. The plated fittings remain 98% intact, the brown wooden handle is a very nice fit with the eagle being inset slightly higher on the handle which is a characteristic of this maker. The brown scabbard paint is a solid 85% in place. There are hints of black paint on the scabbard which lead us to believe that this started out its life as a black scabbarded NSKK dagger, and was factory repainted to be used with the SA. The scabbard fittings retain the majority of their silver finish. The ball tip has been flattened, and there is a significant dent to the bottom of the ball. The blade is very good, with a very deep motto, and obvious factory cross graining.
