German WWII Second Model RLB Enlisted man’s Dagger by Ernst Witte***STILL AVAILABLE**-Very strong offering with heavy nickel-plated fittings throughout which rate 95% intact. The black wooden handle has a few of the normal scuffs but no cracking and a perfect fit. The stylized second model RLB grip insignia shows light wear to both the starburst and the enameled black swastika but no visible damage. The original black scabbard paint is a remarkable 98% intact. The blade is a perfect example with virtually no distractions and a mirror finish. It has the Witte nomenclature with its distinctive logo on the reverse of the blade. The original pebbled leather buffer is still in place under the crossguard. This piece is complete with the elusive short black leather hanger with nickel fittings. This would be very hard to upgrade!
