German WWII Skull Ring-This is a high quality ring with a highly detailed skull and crossbones. This is the variation that is known as the “missing teeth model”. Next to the skull is a snake head, and oak leaves. This ring is nicely maker marked with 835F* "Ln" for "Fray & Co. Laurin" and was introduced around 1936 as a seal of quality for mid-priced jewelry. Rings by this maker were also found with glass eyes in red and clear. This is a larger size, fitting a size 9 ½. It is in very good condition, and an unusual variation of a skull ring.
