German WWII Social Welfare Award 2nd Class- Medaille für deutsche Volkspflege (Medal for German Social Welfare)-This is a 38mm matte silver medal which bears the insignia of the Social Welfare on the obverse (a cross with national emblem superimposed atop it) and the motto on the obverse, “Medaille fü deitsche Volkspflege” or Medal for German Social Welfare. The silver finish displays some minor discoloration and toning but overall is very good. The details on the eagle are beautiful. Near excellent overall!
