German WWII SS (Gebirgstruppen) Sleeve Edelweiss-This was worn by members of the SS Gebirgstruppen (Mountain Troops). It was worn on the right sleeve of both the tunic and the great coat. It is an oval shaped black cloth insignia with a silver/grey machine embroidered edelweiss with yellow stamen. Beautiful machine embroidered edelweiss symbol on a black wool backing. We have a few, so the one you receive will be in as good if not better condition than the one pictured. These are unissued and excellent!
