German WWII Stahlhelm “Front Heil” Veteran’s Organization Buckle-This is a handsome two-piece Stahlhelm Group buckle made completely of brass. The finish to the field is rather matte, while the roundel is slightly shinier. There is some very minor discoloration throughout, the details show moderate wear. The reverse features a belt catch in hollowed out "U" style. The roll bar and prongs are made of brass. There is a “sticky spot” where this may have been displayed with tape, we have not attempted to clean this. A sound unmarked example of an interesting buckle!
