German WWII Trumpet with Trumpet Banner-Very scarce item! This is a NAZI party trumpet complete with a very nice maker’s logo embossed (Hess) onto the bell. There is also a handsome silk trumpet banner attached to this trumpet. The flag measures 19 inches by 17 inches square. There is a 1-inch silver bullion fringe. This banner is one sided, with a multi piece swastika appliqued to the red silk side. The white disc of the swastika does show some age staining. The backing of this banner is white silk. The reverse of the banner does have some age staining and some discoloration marks. The hoist end has three sets of cloth ties to attach to the trumpet. The two end corners have snap clips that attach the banner to the trumpet. It is very clean. It is highly unusual to be able to find these two items together. This would look terrific on display in anyone’s collection. A beautiful offering.
