Perhaps earlier war period preceding the ones we more often encounter.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIt is more square and measures 44.5” x 37” (113 x 94 cm). It is one sided and has four ties that would be used to lash this flag down to a vehicle. These were meant to mark the vehicle so that any pilots would recognize it as a German vehicle. It remains in a vibrant red color with no discoloration.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThere is only one small hole and stain on the edge plus two other small stains on the corners.
