Hitler Youth Brown Shirt and Trousers-This is a brown shirt and trousers for an adult (or a large kid!). The shirt is produced in olive drab cotton that is very clean. There is some minor fading and wear plus a few very small holes (please see pics). This was meant to be tucked in and has a three button closure. There are pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps. The slip on shoulder boards are black cotton with red piping and red stitched number 58. The red color is general HJ and the rank is Hitlerjunge or soldat. There is a district triangle for Südost Kärnten. This is Carinthia, Austria which may explain the choice of trousers that came with the shirt, more on that later. Please note that this is a BDM triangle, not an HJ, so it must be reattached. There is a beautiful HJ cloth armband with a partial visible RZM paper tag. There is a green cord lanyard and an enamel HJ member pin. The interior is unlined and unmarked. The dark blue wool trousers are actually the skiers style. The RZM tag reads “überfallhose für skitrikot”. They are in fine condition, retaining all buttons, straps etc. They have extremely minor wear and a few small areas of tracking. The length is 44” and the waist is a size 36. An excellent grouping!
