Italian Poignard Dagger with Knot-Desirable early fascist dagger with nickel silver plated hilt. The wooden handle has the fascist bundle inset in brass in both the obverse and the reverse. The obverse of the cross guard is marked MVSN. The reverse of the cross guard has the F 22. I do not know what this means. The steel scabbard retains only a small amount of its finish, and it has some very light pitting. It has a steel belt loop attached to the reverse. This comes with a fancy gold bullion knot, but I am not sure if it is correct for this dagger, but I am convinced that it is a fascist period dagger knot. Overall, interesting dagger, in very good condition.
