Italian WW2 Fascist Youth Knife-This measures approx. 11 ½” and has a highly detailed eagle head hilt with red glass eyes. The black painted wooden handle retains approx. 65% of the original paint. The brown ribbed scabbard is in excellent condition and does have a belt loop on the rear that has a few scuffs. We have now been told that this is not the correct scabbard which is normally found with this style knife. The scabbard may be from another style Italian knife but this is the way we purchased it from an advanced collector's estate. The blade is in excellent shape and has a maker (Scuotto) from Naples engraved on the obverse side of the blade. This comes with a frayed gold bullion knot which I am not sure is original to the piece. Desirable example.
