Japanese Army Officer Sword with Tassels of Unknown Origin-This is the type 19 KYO Gunto model. It measures approx. 36 inches in length. The brass hilt is nicely detailed and in excellent shape as is the handle with its twisted wire wrap. The nickel-plated scabbard is virtually 100% intact. The blade has a beautiful water mark and is in excellent condition. This is a good buy!
